Why write a letter?
  • You could broaden impact beyond your social circles
  • Handwritten messages are more authentic
  • It could make you happier:
    • People can improve their own well-being-- and that of others--by simply trying to create connections where one might otherwise choose isolation (Epley and Schroeder, 2020).
  • It would be a nice surprise for the recipient
  • It's a true act of altruism!
